Location: Lenziemill, Cumbernauld
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shift
Shift pattern and Start Times:
1. Thu to Mon 07:00am start
2. Thu to Mon 06:00-16:00
3. Tue to Sat 06:00-16:00
4. Thu to Mon 17:00-03:00
5. Tue to Sat 19:00-05:00
6. Tue to Sat 17:00-03:00
Pay: £18.3032 per hour + any premiums
£21.9639 per hour Saturday & Sunday days / £23.7942 per hour Saturday & Sunday nights

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the organisation of vehicles and management of the yard and assisting with any yard / trailer queries. This is a hands-on job that involves some manual handling.
Your responsibilities
20. Ensure vehicles are put on door in a timely manner for loading and tipping and that equipment is clean and correctly prepared for loading
21. Communicate clearly between site departments
22. Complete pre-loading checks prior to putting the trailer on a bay. Including: defects, service / MOT requirements
23. Carry out full yard checks, completing required documentation
24. Direct incoming equipment and vehicles to the correct parking / loading area(s)
25. Follow current VOR process, liaising with relevant personnel where necessary, and isolate defective equipment
What You’ll Need
26. Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 18 months experience
27. Maximum 6 penalty points – no DD/DR endorsements
28. Comfortable with manual handling and multi-drop
29. Minimum of 3 CPC modules completed

About the Site
Our Cumbernauld depot has been proudly supporting M&S since 1971, with a 222,000 sq ft warehouse and over 450 teammates on site. We offer free parking and have public transport nearby (10-minute walk).
