Responsibilities
will include:
1. Manage your allocated portfolio of clients, ensuringpliance with the deadlines and agreed client service standards
2. Assist the international team with manager level reviews outside of your own portfolio when required.
3. Identify and provide ad-hoc advisory services (both private client and across other teams) to your clients, including coaching and developing the junior team with advisory projects.
4. Overseeing internal processes to ensure client data is obtained within set timescales to aid preparation of tax returns and provisions, and that returns and relevant forms are submitted on time.
5. Interact with clients and answer queries via email, phone, digital platform or letter
6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients through positive interactions in the course of service delivery
7. Undertake business development to win new work and clients for the AAB group as a whole
8. Overseeing fee management process
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiencies within operational taxpliance procedures
Experience and skill set required for the role:
10. Part qualified/qualified accountant, CTA/ATT or qualified by experience
11. Strong understanding ofpliance requirements in Private Client Tax (particularly with an international slant), focussing on individuals but other experience such as partnerships, trusts etc would ideal.
12. Experience of managing a team
13. Advisory experience would be preferable
