Role Overview
Introduction to the role:
The Multimedia Designer will support the firm's objectives by delivering high-quality visual and interactive content that enhances drives engagement across a variety of channels.
This role is responsible for creating graphics, videos, animations, podcasts and other multimedia assets that align with the company's marketing strategies and business goals.
Introduction To The Team
You will be part of the Marketing and Communications team and will report directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications. All members of the wider BD&M team are expected to support the work of the wider business development plans and other parts of the firm as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Design and produce high quality multimedia content, including graphics, videos, animations, audio files and interactive assets for digital and print channels.
Collaborate with the marketing and business partnering teams to develop creative concepts that align with brand guidelines and other objectives.
Support the creation of engaging content for social media, websites, presentations, and internal communications.
Ensure consistency of visual identity across all platforms and materials.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the firm's creative output.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that effectively communicate key messages.
Optimise multimedia assets for different platforms and audiences to maximise reach and engagement.
Proactively look for better ways to support on the objectives of the internal team.
What Are We Looking For
Important criteria:
Proven experience in multimedia design, including graphic design, video and audio editing and animation.
Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools.
Ability to create content for multiple platforms (social media, podcasts, web, print, presentations etc.).
Excellent understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience with motion graphics and interactive media.
Familiarity with video production techniques and audio editing.
Experience in creating content for marketing initiatives.
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of UX/UI principles for digital content.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for web-based design.
Experience in creating content for marketing campaigns and internal communications.
