Position Overview
As a Sales Representative – Technical Software, you will play a key role in identifying potential customers, building relationships, and guiding them through the sales process.
You don’t need to be a technical expert, just someone with curiosity about technology, strong communication skills, and a desire to help businesses find the right software solutions. Full training and product support will be provided.
This role offers a competitive package consisting of a base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and engage with potential clients across industries interested in technical or simulation software.
· Research and pursue new sales opportunities and partnerships.
· Present and promote Mansim’s software products and services (training provided).
· Understand customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions.
· Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and leads.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
· Collaborate with Mansim’s technical and marketing teams to support customer communication and events.
· Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· Genuine interest in technology/innovation and willingness to learn.
· Self-motivated and organised, with good time management and follow-up discipline.
· Comfortable speaking with customers and building professional relationships.
Desirable
· Technical degree (e.g., Engineering, Science, Computer Science) or technical training/qualification.
· Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer service.
· Experience selling or supporting software / technical products (B2B preferred).
· Familiarity with CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.
· Understanding of technical or engineering environments and how customers evaluate solutions.
