Job Description
The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to cover company work in both Havant and Hedge End areas
This will be a customer facing delivery role, working with a drivers mate you will be driving and delivering company products
Driver's duties include but not limited to:
* Logging vehicle checks to assigned vehicle.
* Respond promptly and professionally.
* Willingness to be flexible as routes vary
* Being able to complete and send off different checks involved in the working day
* Previous work referencing preferred but not essential
Drivers required to have:
* Good knowledge of Drivers Hours Legislation.
* DVLA Category C HGV entitlement.
* Digital Tachograph and CPC Card
Days and Hours of work:Ad hoc work butwould be within Monday to Sunday, hours of work shifts starting at 7am.
Pay Rates (PAYE):
* Monday to Friday - £15.50per hour
* Saturday - £ 23.25per hour
* Sunday and Bank Holiday - £31.00
* Overtime and early starts may be required.
