Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
* Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
* Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly
* Assist with food safety procedures, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained at all times
* Support food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the service area
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Manage table settings, clean tables, and ensure the dining area remains organised and inviting
* Handle basic maths for billing purposes and processing payments accurately
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
* Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills accurately
* Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
