We are looking for a Technical Admin Officer to join our Bereavement Services team. This is a great opportunity to support bereaved families with dignity and professionalism, while ensuring the smooth operation of our essential services.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Providing comprehensive administrative and technical support in the Bereavement Office.
2. Managing burial and cremation records using bespoke software.
3. Liaising with funeral directors, stone masons, and the public with empathy and professionalism.
4. Processing memorial orders, payments, and permits.
5. Supporting front-line reception duties and handling sensitive enquiries with care.
What We’re Looking For
6. Strong administrative experience and excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, bespoke systems).
7. Ability to interpret legal documentation and apply relevant legislation.
8. Excellent customer care skills, especially when dealing with bereaved or vulnerable individuals.
9. A calm, respectful, and flexible approach to work.
10. Knowledge of GDPR and experience handling sensitive information.

Your working hours will be 37 hours week, and an element of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
