The 20-bed ICU offers both HDU and ICU services, along with a 24-hour patient outreach service. The ICU covers a broad spectrum including colorectal, gynaecology, thoracic, vascular, orthopaedics, neuro & spinal, and acute medicine. Providing excellent opportunities to specialise and broaden your knowledge.
The Senior ITU Nurse responsibilities will include:
You will play a vital role in providing clinical leadership, mentoring, and training junior staff, alongside delivering complex patient-centred care. In the absence of the Matron and Sister, you will help lead the 20-bed ICU unit.
The Senior ITU nurse must have:
* NMC registration
* Neuro, cardiac, or general ICU experience
