The Job Role of a Mechanical Fitter You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs to a range of plant/attachments at the depot Carry out site breakdowns of excavator equipment/attachments when required You will carry out installation, maintenance, repairs and servicing to a range of plant equipment/attachments You will ensure that your vehicle is kept maintained and any faults or defects are reported immediately upon inspection. To Be Successful as a Mechanical Fitter You will have previous experience within the plant hire industry and have welding experience along with basic electrical/hydraulic/mechanical knowledge Experience working in a team environment assisting with the smooth running of a busy depot No more than 6 endorsements on your license will be considered for this role. Previous experience as a plant fitter, plant engineer, plant attachment engineer, hydraulic engineer, hydraulic technician, service engineer, or service technician.
