The role
We currently have an exciting vacancy for a qualified and experienced Bank Sonographer to join the team at Duchy Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional ultrasound service, ensuring clinical safety at all times together with high quality patient care. You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of ultrasound examinations and reporting on findings, providing crucial information for patient diagnosis and treatment.

What you will bring with you
1. HCPC Registration
2. PGDip in Medical Ultrasound / DMU equivalent
3. Significant experience working as a Sonographer, ideally within the NHS or a private sector
4. Experience of working with Clinical Leads in specialist areas to develop services, and with a multi-disciplinary team
5. Ability to independently perform, interpret and report general ultrasound examinations
6. Manage your own workload, as well as that of your team, and be confident as a lone worker Sonographer
7. Ability to assess and refer patients if further examinations/interventions are required
