Job Title: 1:1 Tutor Location: Corby Area Hours: Flexible (during school hours) Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience and qualifications) About the Role: We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Corby area. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support outside of a mainstream classroom setting, either at home or within a school environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 lessons tailored to each pupil’s needs Support learning in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science Adapt teaching strategies to engage and motivate pupils Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND or SEMH where required Track and report on student progress Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and professionals Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Good knowledge of the UK curriculum Strong communication and organisational skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What We Offer: Flexible working hours to suit your availability Competitive pay rates Support from a friendly and experienced team Opportunities for ongoing and long-term work If you are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
