Midland Regional Printers Ltd are a Nottingham based, family run printing company with over 55 years' experience. As an industry leader in printed packaging solutions, we are passionate about innovation, quality, and sustainability. We are looking for an experienced Packaging Commercial Manager who shares our commitment to excellence and is ready to take our supply chain to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Contracts and Pricing:

* Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to establish and maintain competitive yet profitable pricing strategies for customer contracts.
* Review and negotiate customer contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and adherence to legal and financial standards.
* Regularly evaluate pricing structures to reflect market trends and maintain a healthy profit margin.

2. Commercial Team Leadership:

* Lead, manage, and develop the Commercial Team, including Account Executives and Estimators.
* Oversee the entire process of creating Work Instructions, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
* Monitor job costs by comparing estimated figures with actual costs and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Foster effective communication between the Production Department and the Commercial Team to ensure customers are promptly informed of job progress, including any potential delays.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and accountability within the team.

3. Business Development and Strategy:

* Partner with the Sales Director to design and implement growth-focused business strategies that enhance the company's customer base.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities while ensuring the company maintains its competitive advantage.
* Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

4. Cross-Departmental Support:

* Provide expert guidance and support to other departments regarding commercial processes and best practices.
* Act as a key advisor on commercial matters to ensure seamless coordination across all operational areas.

5. Operational Process Improvement:

* Regularly review and refine operational workflows to improve overall efficiency and performance.
* Develop and implement initiatives that maximize growth opportunities and align with the company's long-term objectives.
* Introduce innovative solutions to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
