Mechanical Fitters / Assemblers / Engineers Location: Pocklington, York Salary: £33,280 per year Hours: Full‑time We are recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters / Assemblers / Engineers to join our client's expanding production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical skills who enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving and contributing to a busy manufacturing environment. You will be involved in the assembly of large generator sets and associated components, including pipework, trunking systems, exhaust systems and other mechanical assemblies. We are looking for reliable, motivated candidates who can work well within a team and also use their own initiative on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly of generator sets, tanks, pipework, trunking and exhaust systems Confident use of a wide range of hand and power tools Working from mechanical drawings and engineering schemes Supporting production teams and maintaining a clean, safe working environment Identifying tasks proactively and working independently when required Occasional travel to other UK sites and potentially overseasCandidate Requirements Candidates should be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, understand basic engineering practices, and ideally be qualified or experienced in a modern manufacturing or automotive environment.
