Salary Salary of circa £45,000 - £56,000 plus dependant on candidate, hours worked and overtime. Competitive salary, depending upon experience Working hours: 40 hours Due to continued growth, we require an experienced refrigeration engineer to join our busy team of respected engineers. Our company is ran by engineers with an emphasis on working as a team. A successful candidate will be required to work on a wide variation of refrigeration equipment. We particularly seek an individual who gains satisfaction from completing work to a high standard. The right candidate will be able to work under their own initiative with an emphasis on unrushed high standard repairs. The nature of this job means that the individual would home based, although you would be required to travel extensively to Customer premises and additionally may be required to travel to our Company Office from time to time, will also include an occasional overnight stay. We are based in Leicestershire but are looking for candidates from Scotland/Newcastle or Scottish borders area. The right candidate will be: · Focused and have pride in the quality of their work · Conscientious · Prepared to Apply time to do job s properly and focus on (where possible) a first-time fix. · Able to work on own initiative but not be afraid to seek support when required. · A team player. Qualifications: · City & Guilds refrigeration qualifications preferred. We would however consider a candidate that could demonstrate extensive technical knowledge and experience in refrigeration. · Current F-Gas certification preferred. · Driving licence essential. In exceptional circumstances the Company has the right to extend your probationary period by up to a further 3 months. After satisfactory completion of the individual’s probationary period, the notice period would increase to one month from the individual and one month from the Company.
