Are you a driven Project Manager looking to take the next step within a major regional civils framework? This is a standout opportunity to join a respected Tier 1 contractor delivering long-term highways and infrastructure projects across the South West.
We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead a new-build highway construction scheme in Plymouth, before progressing on to further projects across the wider South West Highways Civils Framework. With a clear route to Framework Manager, this role offers genuine career progression and long-term stability.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will:
* Lead the successful delivery of a new highway construction project in Plymouth.
* Oversee all project phases – planning, delivery, financial control, health & safety, and stakeholder engagement.
* Work closely with the Framework Delivery Team to ensure consistency, quality, and programme certainty across future schemes.
* Support continuous improvement and innovation within the framework.
* Provide leadership to site teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and collaborative working.
About You
We’re interested in speaking with Project Managers who have:
* Experience in highways, civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar environments.
* Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
* Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills.
* A proactive, delivery-focused approach with a passion for building strong teams.
* The ability to take ownership of projects while contributing to a long-term framework culture.
