Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working.

There is a temporary salary top-up for Bands 2 and 3, reflecting the incorporation of the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This top-up will be in place until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Job Overview

This role involves providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Mental Health 111 Service, initially based at St Cadoc’s Hospital. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all enquiries regarding the service.

Key responsibilities include organizing diaries, setting up appointments, resolving scheduling conflicts, and managing workload independently. Fluency in Welsh is desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcomed.

Knowledge/Qualifications

Essential:
* Knowledge of secretarial procedures and systems, such as query handling, progress chasing, and problem-solving, gained through vocational training at Level 3 or equivalent experience.
* RSA Level II or equivalent keyboard skills.


Qualifications/Experience

Essential:
* Relevant grade or experience in secretarial or administrative roles.
Desirable:
* Additional relevant qualifications or experience.
