Graduate Controls Engineer - The Role:
Designing electrical and control systems for special purpose machinery.
Assist with PLC software development and modifications (primarily Siemens)
Developing design concepts, producing drawings and specifications using appropriate software.
Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, and software teams
Researching new solutions, technologies, and techniques to enhance equipment and processes.
Involved in the full project life cycle, from feasibility through to build, commissioning, and client handover.
Graduate Controls Engineer - The Person:
An Engineering Degree ideally in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering
Strong technical understanding with the ability to create accurate, innovative, and practical design solutions.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical information clearly and build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
Organised and detail-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally
