ABOUT THE ROLE Northumbria University is seeking to recruit an experienced Strength & Conditioning Coaches who will work closely with the Head of Strength and Conditioning to deliver a qualitysupport programme to a range for sports teams and dual career athletes. Northumbria are a top 30 University for sport in the UK, with over 70 teams across 35 sports competing within the British University and College Sport League (BUCS). At Northumbria we are committed to offering dual career support to talented student athletes within a range of sports through our Focus Sport, Individual Scholarships, TASS, Sport Club programme and partnership with the i2i International Soccer Academy. The Strength & Conditioning Coach's will join our multi-disciplinary team to help improve student athletes' performance and reduce the risk of injuries work with student athletes from talent development to international level within a wide range of sports. Northumbria Sport is responsible for delivering an excellent student experience through our range of sport, fitness, and wellbeing programmes. The role will be located across Sport Central and Coach Lane Sports Ground, both sites have dedicated strength and conditioning facilities.
