Role: Technical Sales Manager Pumps
Location: Flexible
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager Pumps with a strong background in the pumps industry, ideally with exposure to Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water sectors.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoys building long-term customer relationships while driving business growth.
Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager Pumps include:
Develop and manage relationships with key customers across Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water markets
Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
Provide technical pump solutions tailored to customer requirements
Work closely with engineering and internal teams to develop proposals and quotations
Support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order and delivery
Attend customer sites, conduct meetings, and represent the business at industry events
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of the pumps industry (essential)
Proven technical sales or business development experience
Experience working within at least one of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, FMCG, Water/Wastewater
Ability to understand and communicate technical engineering solutions
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Self motivated with a proven track record of hitting sales targets
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
