Role Overview:
* Provide tailored 1:1, and small group intervention support to pupils with a range of SEN
* Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
* Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence
* Monitor and record pupil progress and support behaviour and emotional well-being
* Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe and nurturing learning environment
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals as required
Role Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable
* A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach to supporting learners with additional and complex needs
* Ability to adapt to the needs of students across different key stages, from Early Years to KS4
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils
* A desire to make a genuine impact on young people's social and academic development
