Afternoons £19.64 Paye or £24.95 Umbrella
Shifts: Mornings and Afters
Hours per week: 37 hours a week
Duration: 12 Months+ (predicted)

Client Summary:
Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing.
Position Summary:
The role is geared around Fault finding and diagnosing of train systems including TPWS (Train protection and Warning Systems), AWS (Automatic Warning Systems), PIS (Passenger Information Systems), Traction, braking, doors, radios, CCTVs, HVAC units DOO (Driver only operations systems) and MVB (communication network system). Ensure trains leave the site fully tested with no quality defects.
Experience Considered:
* In-depth Electrical knowledge
* Good understanding of manufacturing process
* Experience reading schematics / written working instructions
* Testing (megger meters' / flash tests / continuity tests)
* Fault Finding / Diagnostics / Problem Solving
* Wiring
* Methodical and meticulous approach
* Confidence to sign off and put your name against your workmanship
* Electrical Qualification
* Ability to prioritise work to maximise output
* Be computer literate (data downloads are part of the position)
* Work within a small team and on your own on occasions
* Have a safe approach to work within an industrial environment
* Be able to react and to solve problems as you uncover them
* HV aware
Additional Information:
A must is a formal Electrical Engineering Qualification I.e. Apprenticeship, Degree, HND, HNC, 16th/17 edition, Level 3 Electrical Installation, 2391 City and Guilds Testing.
