Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS4 SEN Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school. You will be supporting students aged 14-16 with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and a range of additional needs, helping them prepare for adulthood in a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to KS4 students with SEN
2. Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of learning needs, including Autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties
3. Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
4. Support students' communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development
5. Prepare pupils for adulthood, including functional skills, independence, and employability skills
6. Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and well-being
7. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff to support holistic development
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
9. Experience working with KS3/KS4 students with SEN, particularly Autism and Learning Disabilities
10. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient, and adaptable approach
11. Understanding of EHCPs and SEN best practices within a specialist setting
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
13. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
14. Legal right to work in the UK
