Hybrid (2 days home / 3 days in Plymouth office with flexible start/finish times)
Job Purpose:
Key member of our small creative team, creating word class design and image assets for a DTC brand.
Accountabilities
Digital design
• Email design
• Website design support
• Supporting with web/social ads and asset creation
Design for print
• Print design support when required
Photoshoots, image processing and administration
• Supporting with the collection of shoot inspiration and creating moodboards
• Contributing to creative direction for upcoming shoots
• Preparing final edited imagery for web
• Retouching digital imagery for print & web
• Maintaining and organising multiple image libraries
• Renaming imagery in the correct naming convention
Requirements
Experience:
We are looking for a creative Jnr Graphic Designer with the confidence to take on a range of design briefs in a fast-paced environment. Someone curious and hardworking, who enjoys a challenge and to become a key member of this hardworking and fun-loving team.
Imagery:
We are looking for someone with an eye for selecting the best images and crops, to then go on and create high quality assets with, bringing the imagery to life in exciting and fresh new ways.
Design:
Someone who can demonstrate strong typography and layout skills, along with a good eye for colour and attention to detail. And is able to find new and exciting ways to bring our brand story to life across our digital touchpoints – email, website and paid ads.
Fashion:
Whilst you don't need background in fashion, we are ideally looking for someone with a natural interest in fashion brands, especially inspired by women's clothing (particularly activewear and adventure/outdoors).
Organisation:
As a small team there is need, particularly during busy periods, for strong organisational and time management skills, working collaboratively to ensure all objectives and deadlines are met.
Other requirements
* Design related qualification (to degree level)
* A strong portfolio of work
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
* Delivers high quality design within required timeframes and can work under pressure
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable but not essential
* Motion graphics (video/animation)
* Experience using Figma
* Experience retouching digital imagery
* Digital asset management
* A full clean driving licence
