In this scope, you will manage a manufacturing team and will be in charge of managing some longer term projects across the business Your objectives and Missions: - Manage your team with the aim of meeting objectives for safety, quality, costs and delivery, in line with customer requirements. - Improve performance within your scope of responsibility - Ensure that multidisciplinary teams capitalize on experience and move up the skills chain. Develop versatility, autonomy, cross-functional applicability and innovation, in line with the Safran model - Providing a vision and uniting the teams around the entity's challenges. - Ensuring that competencies and resources are maintained at the highest level within the expanded scope. - Ensuring the accessibility and quality of data in the sector. - Guaranteeing the use of and compliance with referential. - Ensuring compliance of all production, processes and the correct application of all directives (Part 145 regulations, HSE, etc.) - Keeping up to date documentation and procedures relative to your scope - Ensuring the required transformations and change management in line with CSS global requirements MAIN ACTIVITIES Manage the employees within the Manufacturing team: - Managing a team of Technicians, Leads and Machinists. - Guaranteeing a safe environment of work and lead any necessary actions to ensure safety of your team - Organising your teams in a way that promotes multidisciplinary contributions, autonomy, accountability, and cross-functionality with the aim of being agile and adaptable to operational contingencies and (internal and external) customer's needs. - Managing workload-capacity balance in coordination with the production manager - Expressing resource and competency needs to optimize the operations within your scope of activity. - Allocating workload based on needs & managing/escalating priorities within the department. - Managing HR Processes: hiring/on boarding/training, PDR of the team. - Managing the skills development of each team member - Identifying training needs, defining training initiatives to ensure the development of the team, and contributing to employee career management. - Maintaining a good social climate within and with your team - Promoting a team operation in accordance with the values of the Safran Together Model - Promoting innovation and support innovative initiative But what else? (benefits, specificities, etc.) Organize the activity: - Maintaining a working environment that complies with HSE requirements and ensuring the safety of the teams working under your responsibility - Implementing the guidelines and objectives of the Repair Station or Production Manager for your scope of responsibility into SQCDP (Safety - Quality - Cost - Delivery - People) operational objectives in line with other Production Line Managers. - Ensuring that products are repaired in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer order requirements within the set deadlines and costs - Managing and planning the resources around a workload / capacity tool in terms of resources and staff (quantities and competencies). - Managing the skills and training of the teams to guarantee the quality of operations - Ensuring Team members training and efficiency on time clocking rules, and clocking accuracy - Supporting internal and Customers training in line with the training department within CSS Manage the performance: - Monitoring the performance indicators of the repair production lines, leading the associated reporting and developing any action and mitigation plans to support the performance Candidate skills & requirements a) Knowledge and Skills - Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Suite) - Performance management (quality, costs, deadlines) - Production management b) Competencies - Technical Knowledge - Risk Management - Continuous improvement/Lean - HSE requirements - Skills Development - Organizational Skills - Leadership Capabilities - Interpersonal Skills - Change Management - Process Oriented - Communications Proficiency - Time/Priority Management - Problem Solving/Analysis - Discretion c) Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree 5 years / Engineering degree - General or Mechanical - 3 to 5 years' successful experience in manufacturing, installation, or repairs would be a considerable asset for this position. Experience in team management would be a plus. Strong production/repair management and performance management skills.
