Read First – How to Apply
Please email me at robertjamescoaching@gmail.com
and answer three short questions (below).
If you have a website or portfolio, please include it too.
The 3 questions:
* What draws you to work with OCD, anxiety, and embodied approaches?
* In 1–2 sentences, how do you help clients stay with discomfort instead of trying to control or avoid it?
* Share 1–2 examples (or links) that show your relevant coaching or therapeutic experience.
About the Role
At Robert James Coaching, we help people recover from OCD and anxiety through structured, values-based programs grounded in acceptance, mindfulness, and somatic awareness.
I’m looking for an Associate Coach who can deliver these programs from start to finish—someone who understands how both the mind and body contribute to recovery, and who can guide clients toward freedom and self-trust rather than control.
You’ll be trained in my established frameworks (Break Free from OCD, Sensorimotor OCD Program) and supported to bring your own insight and presence to the process.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver 1:1 coaching (and occasionally small groups) using structured OCD and anxiety programs.
* Integrate embodiment and nervous system awareness naturally into sessions.
* Track client progress and communicate updates within a collaborative team.
* Join regular mentoring or supervision calls to refine skills and ensure consistency.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
* Have experience in coaching, counselling, psychology, or trauma-informed practice.
* Are grounded in acceptance-based work (ACT, mindfulness, or similar).
* Understand or are curious about somatic and nervous-system regulation approaches.
* Communicate clearly in English and can hold space calmly and compassionately.
* Appreciate structure but bring warmth and intuition to your work.
Compensation & Logistics
* Remote role, flexible hours across time zones.
* Paid per client/program delivered (competitive and based on experience).
* Full training in program delivery provided.
* Long-term collaboration with opportunities to grow within the brand.
