We are inviting internal applications for an opportunity to join the Reception team at our Turnchapel site working over a 4 week rota:
Week 1: Friday – 08:30 to 17:00 (8 hours)
Week 2: Saturday & Sunday – 09:00 to 17:00 (15 hours)
Week 3: Wednesday – 08:30 to 17:00 (8 hours)
Week 4: No shifts (0 hours)
Subject to change as business needs alter
Role Overview:
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the Hospice. Your responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and welcoming all visitors
* Answering and directing incoming calls via the switchboard
* Taking accurate messages and handling incoming and outgoing post
* Supporting the wider Reception team in creating a positive and compassionate experience
You'll play a vital role in ensuring that the Hospice's values are upheld through a friendly and respectful environment for patients, families, staff, and volunteers.

* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrates strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Can remain calm and professional under pressure
* Has a confident and courteous telephone manner
