The Role: We are seeking a graduate or Junior Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate project programmes, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource allocation. This role involves working closely with office-based and site-based staff, contractors, and suppliers to maintain consistency and alignment across all phases of MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and review project programmes at pre-contract and post-contract stages.
* Create progress reports and revise schedules using planning software such as Microsoft Project or Asta.
* Break down large projects into manageable phases.
* Plan and manage project timelines using project management tools.
* Collaborate with Estimators on resource calculations.
* Develop contingency plans for potential delays.
* Meet with contractors and suppliers to review programmes.
* Demonstrate knowledge of construction processes, especially roofing and façade works.
* Coordinate between office and site teams for programme consistency.
* Produce procurement and design programmes aligned with construction schedules.
* Review programmes for Extension of Time (EOT) requests, identifying delays and additional works.
* Maintain understanding of EOT/Compensation Events requirements for accurate programme adjustments.
Skills and Qualifications:

* Persistence, determination, and a results-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in planning software such as Asta and Microsoft Project.
Desirable: Knowledge of building services and their sequencing.
