Key Account Manager - Surfacing — Derby (Office-based with UK Travel). Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Commission + Car/Allowance + Benefits.

The Role
This is a hybrid position based out of the Derby office, with national travel to meet clients and visit sites. You''ll play a key role in both growing and retaining business by:
* Managing and developing a portfolio of ~100 accounts.
* Re-engaging dormant accounts and driving new business.
* Building strong client relationships and becoming the “go-to” person for surfacing solutions.
* Delivering against KPIs: 15+ new enquiries/projects per month.
* Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to help shape a high-performing sales team.
What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in B2B sales (construction or related sector preferred).
* Strong account management and new business skills.
* Confidence in handling the full sales cycle, from initial approach to negotiation and close.
* Drive, resilience, and the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and get stuck in.
