East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for an experienced Principal Information Analyst to provide analytical expertise across the Information Management and Performance Team's broad portfolio and to support the day‑to‑day running of the department, ensuring external and internal information requests are kept up to date, in line with the latest guidance, and submitted in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide analytical expertise across the Information Management and Performance Team's portfolio.
* Support day‑to‑day operations of the department.
* Ensure external and internal information requests are kept up to date, follow guidance, and are submitted timely.
* Drive reporting and analysis developments using advanced Excel skills and SQL.
* Assist the transition from Excel to online reporting platforms using SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.
* Use initiative and think on your feet in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in specialist information provision and analysis.
* In‑depth specialist knowledge of NHS datasets and definitions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and eye for detail.
* Advanced skills in Excel and SQL.
* Good understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI (desirable).
