HOURS: Full Time, 45 hours per week, 5:00-14:30 Monday-Friday
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Patisserie Production Assistant plays a vital role in bringing our beautifully crafted products to life. Based in our dedicated Patisserie production kitchen, you will be responsible for the careful packaging of our in-house creations, including our signature Crackers, Nuts, Beans, and seasonal specialties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Execute, weigh and prepare all recipes/products as per company specifications
* Execute all food production duties in a timely and professional manner
* Adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
* Contribute to the award-winning standard of all Daylesford Organic products
* Ensure that all ingredients are well organised, in full supply and ready for each day’s production plan
* Ensure that cleaning rotas are adhered to at all times
* Complete all tasks efficiently within the timeframe given
* Work safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate
* Minimise wastage levels as much as possible
* Comply with the production unit’s internal and external audit requirements
* Aid the Head Pastry Chef in the fulfilment of the Patisserie’s annual financial/budgetary targets
* Participate in the effective communication amongst the team regarding any changes to recipes, packaging specifications, procedures and/or operational
needs, and amongst the company and other customers regarding any quality issues/shortages in the required timescale
