4 day week Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm based in the Lisburn area on the appointment of a Despatch Team Leader. In this role you will work with a continuous improvement mindset, leading and coordinating the Despatch Team to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of all orders across both domestic and international markets. Whats in it for you: Starting salary of up to £32,500 4 day week (Monday - Thursday 7:30am 5:30pm) Life Assurance (x4 salary) 26.5days holiday (including Bank Holidays) On-site parking Learning & development opportunities Exciting career prospects with an expanding local company Employee initiatives Enhanced maternity pay In your new role: Oversee the supervision of the department team Lead daily W.A.R. meetings to ensure effective communication of departmental needs and business information Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customs, to assist in clearing goods Frequently liaise with the Purchasing department to ensure inbound bookings are made in alignment with Operations' material requirements Manage and prepare all despatch documentation, including packing lists, Chamber of Commerce documentation, and relevant company stamps Organise and coordinate the booking domestic and international Seek out and implement operational improvement activities related to cost, quality, safety, and efficiency Support the team to ensure key production KPIs are met Attend Health & Safety meetings to ensure a safe work environment, equipment maintenance, and implementation of safety measures What you will need to succeed: A minimum of 3 years years experience in a fast-paced despatch / logistics environment at supervisory level Proficiency with ERP systems including Sage and all Microsoft Office packages Forklift License For a confidential conversation on how Capex Recruitment can support you with your next move, reach out to Chris Quinn today.
