Role Overview
As a Workday Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Recruiting setup within the platform. Bupa has been a Workday customer for over 5 years with a mature setup that still has room to evolve. We plan to implement features like Candidate Messaging and a full UK-based business implementation in the coming year.
You will own the development of Workday and its Recruiting roadmap, partner with four recruitment teams across Bupa, configure and develop the system, manage a Senior Analyst, and help develop their technical skills. You will also ensure governance, compliance, and change processes are followed, all while improving the employee experience through user-centric solutions.
How you’ll help us make health happen
* Identify and deliver opportunities to improve Recruitment & Onboarding functions in Bupa’s Workday setup
* Participate in Workday community forums to stay updated on current features
* Proactively assess existing processes to enhance end-user experience, compliance, financial, and operational efficiency
* Gather stakeholder requirements and create tailored solutions
* Evaluate the impact of system changes and address any unforeseen effects
* Design and build technical configurations within talent and compensation modules of Workday
* Create supporting materials and conduct training to facilitate smooth implementation
* Manage key stakeholder relationships and collaborate with other teams for continuous improvement
* Manage and mentor a Senior Analyst
Key Skills and Qualifications needed for this role
* Thorough understanding of Workday, especially Recruitment & Onboarding functionalities
* Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical configuration within Workday
* Strong consulting skills, including presenting, leading workshops, and demonstrations
* Interest in technology and its application in HR operations
* Excellent self-management, prioritization, and planning skills
* Passion for collaboration and delivering successful outcomes
