What you will do
 * Join our Commercial Risk Apprenticeship scheme as a valued and permanent employee from day one. You will support clients in the management of their insurance programmes, including placement and assisting with risk identification.
 * Support with some well-known brand names to ensure they have the appropriate insurance cover, which could include a wide range of policies from property to cyber.
 * Join as a Business Support Specialist and help the team manage expectations and deliver on time for clients.
 * Be supported by colleagues with experience in the Aon apprenticeship programme and others who bring years of insurance market experience.
Your development
As an Aon Apprentice you will be enrolled onto our development programme. The programme is built around three core elements:
 * Business learning — on-the-job learning to develop knowledge of the team and solution line you have joined.
 * Centralised learning — UK apprentices complete an Aon induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops to build knowledge of Aon, confidence and network.
 * Professional Qualifications — support towards your level 4 Insurance Apprenticeship and Certificate in Insurance through Chartered Insurance Institute, with paid study leave and materials.
During your skills development, you will build meaningful professional relationships with colleagues and clients, and you will have opportunities to progress your career within Aon.
What the day will look like
 * You will be part of a team from day one, supporting the delivery of client-facing activities.
 * Assisting in the day-to-day running of client risk and insurance programmes.
 * Carrying out administrative tasks contributing to the broking process.
 * Building strong working relationships with insurers.
 * Opportunities to support attendance at industry networking events.
Entry requirements
 * 112 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent) or 280 UCAS points for exams sat prior to 2017 (excluding General Studies).
 * Five GCSEs at grades 9-4 including Maths and English (A*-C GCSEs for exams studied prior to 2020).

 * Motivation and ambition — you will need to articulate why you want a career in insurance or reinsurance.
 * Commercial awareness — helps us provide support and advice to clients with clarity and confidence.
 * Passion and curiosity — understand the value of delivering excellent client service.
 * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style for different groups of people.
Right to work
Our apprentices are on permanent contracts from day one. We welcome applications from candidates who have the right to work in the UK and can maintain that right throughout employment. This may include pre-settled or settled status from the EU Settlement Scheme, or if you have applied and are waiting for a decision.
