Overview
The Senior Quality Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Trust's commitment to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care. The post holder will contribute to the analysis and interpretation of quality, safety, and patient experience data to inform decision‑making and drive improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Quality Systems and Analytics Manager, clinical governance teams, and operational leaders, they will ensure robust data accuracy, develop insightful dashboards, and provide expert advice on quality metrics. The role also supports compliance with national standards, regulatory requirements, and internal assurance processes, contributing to the Trust's Quality Strategy.
Responsibilities
* Extract, analyse, and interpret quality, safety, and patient experience data from multiple sources.
* Produce clear, high-impact dashboards and reports for senior leaders, governance committees, and regulators.
* Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities through advanced analysis and thematic reviews.
* Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and assurance of quality data and reporting.
* Maintain and develop quality data systems, reporting tools, and data visualisations to support decision‑making.
* Support regulatory compliance, audits, and assurance processes (e.g. CQC, Quality Accounts).
* Provide expert training and support to users, enabling effective use and interpretation of quality data.
* Communicate complex insights clearly to clinical, operational, and corporate audiences.
* Work collaboratively with teams to support and monitor quality improvement plans.
