As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored education and providing the support necessary to help students achieve their full potential.
SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of SEN students.
* Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to provide holistic student support.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.
* Encourage confidence, independence, and social development in students.
What we need from a Special Education Needs Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) as an SEN Teacher.
* Understanding of SEN teaching strategies, including support for autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach.

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
* Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
