Supply Teacher
Job Description:
A Supply Teacher is responsible for covering classes in the absence of the regular teacher. The role involves delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
Job Duties:
* Deliver lessons according to the lesson plans provided by the school.
* Manage the classroom and ensure students are engaged in learning.
* Provide support to students as needed.
* Maintain discipline and adhere to school policies.
* Communicate effectively with school staff and parents.
Required Qualifications:
* A valid teaching qualification.
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments.
Education:
A degree in Education or a relevant subject.
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching or working with children is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
* Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Good organisational skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional teaching certifications.
* Experience in different educational settings.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with part-time hours. The Supply Teacher may work in various schools and classrooms, adapting to different environments and student needs. The salary ranges from £100 to £175 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
