Milk Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a mainstream Primary School in the Liverpool area (L13), to work on a long-term basis. This is a school, who prides itself on being happy and caring, with high standards of attainment and behaviour.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

1. Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
2. Support pupils consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
3. Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
4. Deliver catch-up sessions

SEND Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

5. Must have recent/relevant experience working (or personally) with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
6. Must have a passion for education
7. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
8. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
