An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Wales & West Housing Association (WWHA) — a values-driven organisation with a strong social purpose. We’re looking for a Finance Manager (Development) who combines commercial insight, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to support our directors to drive the continued growth of our ambitious development programme.
The individual will be a key member to ensuring the development programme is robust. This is an exciting role where you will add value by offering financial leadership to inform and shape the future development programme and vision of the business, driving the business forward through ensuring that the decision-making process is consistent with our strategic objectives and core values. You will possess strong communication skills to articulate a concise narrative that helps tell the story of what has happened and what needs to happen to achieve the vision.
Your strong commercial and strategic acumen will help build the quarterly rolling forecasts. The role is hands on, you will delve into individual schemes from inception through to handover ensuring viability and value for money and will take an overarching view of the development programme.
You will be technically proficient and you will be able to drive improvements in financial processes, enhance data quality, and increase the timeliness of reporting by automating tasks and streamlining workflows.
You’ll become a key member of the finance management team and our senior management group and will oversee a small finance team.
