Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise, and control production activities to meet scheduled targets and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
* Lead, motivate, and develop production staff to attain high performance and engagement.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
* Monitor production metrics and generate reports to inform management decisions.
* Collaborate closely with quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation.
* Manage resources effectively, including workforce scheduling and equipment utilisation.
Requirements
* Demonstrable experience as a Production Manager or similar role within the food processing industry.
* Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
* Thorough understanding of food safety standards, HACCP processes, and quality control principles.
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse production data and drive improvements based on insights.
* Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate production demands.
* Relevant qualifications in production management or food technology are desirable.
