Hours: School hours (flexible within 8:30am–3:30pm)

About the Role
We are seeking a committed and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Leicestershire in either their home or a school setting during school hours.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes through personalised education.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions based on individual learning plans
* Support core subjects such as English, Maths, and other curriculum areas where required
* Create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of needs, including SEN where appropriate
* Monitor progress and provide session feedback
* Liaise with parents, schools, and other professionals as needed

Requirements
* Teaching qualification (QTS) or a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience delivering the UK curriculum
* Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible, patient, and reliable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Background in education, youth work, or pastoral support
