We are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to deliver specialist psychological therapy for young people at ultra-high risk of psychosis. This is an 18‑month fixed‑term contract within the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O‑CAP) team at the University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS.
Responsibility
* Deliver specialist psychological therapy as part of the Sleeping Better project, a large multi‑site randomised controlled trial testing a 12‑week treatment for sleep and circadian rhythm difficulties in patients with a diagnosis of psychosis.
* Work clinically across a number of NHS trusts, facilitating a specialist remote clinic and treating patients remotely.
* Supervise assistant psychologists and provide teaching.
* Participate in research supervision, publication opportunities and evaluation of the sleep intervention.
* Collaborate with local services at each NHS trust.
Qualifications
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy).
* In‑depth understanding of the theoretical and empirical foundations of cognitive approaches to mental health difficulties.
* Excellent cognitive therapy skills.
* Experience working within randomised controlled clinical trials.
