Established leader in the food processing sector, renowned for its cutting-edge automated food processing machinery and packaging equipment. As a Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards and efficiency.
Generally working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. There may be early or late starts and occasional nights away.
What You Will Do
* Install, maintain, and commission state-of-the-art machinery and equipment across the UK.
* Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns, working under pressure to restore systems.
* Conduct planned maintenance and coordinate effectively with customers.
* Provide help desk support and advice to customers via telephone and email.
* Compile detailed service reports following fault diagnostics and repairs.
* Participate in training sessions at the company's headquarters and abroad to enhance skills and knowledge.
What You Will Bring
* A strong electrical/mechanical background, evidenced by formal qualifications and experience.
* Experience in a food processing, manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical environment.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, during unsociable hours, and in various locations.
* A full clean driving license.
* Willingness to undertake extensive training and travel, including overseas assignments.
You should have current or recent experience as a field service engineer, service technician, maintenance engineer, electrical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, system builder, or electrical technician.
