Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a secondary school in Preston who are seeking a qualified Textiles Teacher to start immediately.
This is a full-time position to cover a staff absence, initially for approximately six weeks, with the possibility of extension. The school are specifically looking for a Textiles specialist who can confidently deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The Role:
* Teaching Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Planning, preparing and delivering creative and practical lessons
* Assessing and monitoring student progress
* Maintaining high standards of classroom management
* Contributing positively to the wider Design Technology department
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Textiles
* Experience teaching in a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Available to start immediately
