We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts and Reporting Administrator to join our team at Glenrinnes Distillery near Dufftown.

What Will You Do?

As the Accounts and Reporting Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our accounting records are up to date and properly maintained, preparing financial statements and management accounts, and providing essential accounting support for the distillery team. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for the provision of statutory, legal and fiscal information to our external Accountants so that all necessary tax and legal compliance obligations can be met appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accounts payable: Conduct all necessary book-keeping activities regarding bills and expenses in liaison with the distillery operations team to ensure correctness of invoices. Carry out regular reporting and review of bills to be paid.
* Accounts receivable: Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales invoices, interfacing with the sales order processing system. Manage receivables reporting, review overdue amounts, and follow up as required.
* Cash and Banks accounting: Weekly reconciliation of credit card and bank accounts, as well as petty cash management.
* VAT, Duty, Payroll, Shopify, International markets accounting: Maintenance and recording of externally generated accounting inputs.
* Cost accounting: Calculation and maintenance of standard costs records and regular reporting of actual landed costs.
* Accounts Management: Ensure the integrity of our accounting records and assist external accountants in preparing VAT/tax returns and financial statements.
* Management Reports: Create regular management reports including sales, cash flow, expenses, income statements, and balance sheets.
* Data and system management: Ensure all Xero transactional and standing data is correct, up-to-date, and aligned with operations, inventory, and sales systems.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience: Proven expertise in accounting roles. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the spirits manufacturing industry and international sales/marketing is advantageous.
* Qualities: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, attention to detail, and high accuracy. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
