This listing is for two posts of 14 and 18.66 hours per week
We require ahighly motivated individual to work in our busy Emergency Department reception.You will be required to work with the minimum of supervision and as part of ateam, dealing with all the clerical duties associated with patients attendingthe Emergency Department.
You will workshifts (a mixture of 07:15 to 14:45 and 14:45 to 22:15) on a rolling 3 weekrota pattern. This will include Bank Holidays and weekends as they fall on therota.
Applicants shouldpossess good communication and organisational skills and be able to work underpressure. Previous reception experience and computer/keyboard skills are essentialfor this post.

Person Specification
Experience
* Clerical experience of dealing with the general public.
* Medway experience.
* ED or other hospital reception experience.
* Previous hospital experience.
Knowledge and Awareness
* Understanding of the need for confidentiality.
* IT systems particularly Microsoft packages.
* Knowledge of NHS procedures.
* Awareness of health and safety requirements.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths & English (A-C) or equivalent or equivalent experience.
