Customer Administrator (Immediate Start)
Location: Huntingdon (4 days office-based, 1 day from home)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (between 7:00am – 5:30pm)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Type: Full-time, ongoing temporary role
We’re looking for a Customer Administrator to join a fast‑paced and dynamic operations team in Peterborough. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
You’ll play a key part in supporting the Key Customer Coordinator and wider team — ensuring smooth daily operations, first‑class customer service, and accurate data management.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Key Customer Coordinator with day‑to‑day administrative and organisational tasks.
* Maintain and update internal systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
* Manage driver and vehicle bookings, prepare information for invoicing, and reconcile daily records.
* Verify booking details to ensure compliance and completeness.
* File and organise key documentation, including driver paperwork, test results, and certificates.
* Raise purchase orders and handle general admin tasks such as scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
* Respond to stakeholder and haulier queries efficiently and professionally.
* Manage emails and phone calls within agreed service levels.
* Uphold data confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
About You
* Previous experience in administration, logistics, or data management.
* Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Confident using IT systems and managing multiple tasks.
