Job Duties:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom by assisting with the implementation of lesson plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment. You may also be responsible for preparing educational materials, supervising students during activities, and providing feedback to teachers on student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children or young people
Education:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The role may involve assisting with students with special educational needs or disabilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
