Baker Hughes is seeking a Corrosion Engineer to work in the Integrity Management Technology team based at the Liverpool Centre of Excellence site.

As our Corrosion Engineer you will be comfortable working around production chemicals in a laboratory setting. You’ll be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and work well with other members of the technology team.
The pace and volume of the work can be quite high at times and requires the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines effectively.
You will also be responsible for
* Project management: candidate will handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Perform corrosion inhibitor evaluations and selections in a laboratory research environment, including atmospheric testing and high temperature/pressure autoclave tests on oil and water samples and product formulations.
* Analyze technical data and produce technical reports with guidance.

* Degree in a Chemistry or Engineering related subject.
* Experience of working in a laboratory environment.
* Practice safe working habits including compliance with HSE rules and regulations.
