We're seeking an experienced HR professional to join a public sector organisation on an interim basis, supporting their people and wellbeing agenda. This is a hands-on generalist role focused on delivering proactive, compassionate, and values-led HR support across health, safety, wellbeing, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
 * Work closely with staff, board members, and external partners to provide early advice, draft policies, manage casework, and support change initiatives.
 * Provide proactive HR support across health, safety, wellbeing, and employee relations.
 * Demonstrate strong experience in absence management, performance, recruitment, and trauma-informed practice.
 * Contribute to wellbeing frameworks and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
 * CIPD-qualified (or equivalent).
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
 * Ability to work flexibly and digitally.
 * Experience in the public or third sector and an understanding of trauma and its impact is highly desirable.
 * Hybrid role: home-based with occasional travel across the central belt. Must have secure Wi-Fi and a private working space.
