We are excited to be working with a welcoming and supportive 2‑form entry primary school in Manningtree that is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September.
This role is initially long‑term, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right fit. The school is keen to find someone who wants to become part of a friendly, collaborative team and play a key role during this important stage of pupils’ learning.
About the Role:
* Teaching a Year 6 class within a supportive 2‑form entry setting
* Planning and delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons
* Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during their transition to secondary school
* Working closely with year‑group colleagues and leadership
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
The School Is Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
* Is nurturing, organised, and confident supporting pupils through SATs and transition
* Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to school life
* Is open to a long‑term role with the potential to go permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
